What's Up, Family!
I want to thank you for joining me on this journey and diving into this blog series I call Shift: 3 Steps to Shift Your Life. This series was created with you in mind, and today, I want to give you some context on why I made it and how it can help you.
Why I Created Shift
This series is built around four key parts. It is predominantly video-based and includes thought-provoking questions to help you process and reflect as you move through it. Here's the backstory: I originally recorded these videos in 2021, a time we all remember well. The pandemic had rocked our world, flipped our lives upside down, and fundamentally changed how we saw everything—our families, our communities, our work, and even our faith.
At that time, I found myself asking, "Lord, what are You doing with us?" We were living in the middle of a shift. Not just a personal shift, not just a family shift—but a global shift. For many of us, it felt like chaos. It exposed where we were weak, tested our minds, and challenged our ability to find a sense of normalcy in a very abnormal time.
I realized people were asking the same questions:
Where am I going?
How do I move forward?
Where do I even start?
That’s why I recorded these videos—to simplify the process of navigating the unknown and to help us find clarity during times of confusion.
The Purpose of the Shift
Make no mistake about it—the world is still shifting. We are still dealing with the aftermath of everything we’ve been through. I believe God caused this shift for a reason. He didn’t allow us to go back to seeing Him the same way because He’s always calling us to grow. Though God never changes, He causes change because He wants to progress us forward.
Personally, this shift tested my faith in Christ—but it also grew my faith in Christ. It wasn’t easy. The way I viewed church, community, and God Himself was reshaped. And if you’re reading this, you may still be trying to redefine your own life: your career, your family dynamics, your spiritual walk, or even your mental and emotional health.
That’s what this course is about—helping you shift.
What to Expect
This course is designed to be self-paced and reflective. Here’s how I recommend you approach it:
Take Your Time: I suggest taking no less than two weeks to go through this course. You could even stretch it to three weeks. Go slow, listen deeply, and process each step.
Reflect on Every Area of Your Life: Whether it’s your finances, spiritual life, family, mental health, or social connections, the principles in this course are universal. They can apply to every aspect of your life.
Engage with Community: We will have a group discussion board where you can connect with others who are taking this course. You’re not alone—you can share, listen, and grow together.
Are You Ready to Shift?
If you’re ready to shift your life, let’s get to work. Take your time, reflect, and allow God to move you forward in this season. Whether you’re seeking clarity in your personal life, your spiritual life, or in your purpose, these steps will help guide you.
I’m excited to see where this journey takes you. Let’s go! It’s about to go down.
